Metro Police identified a 61-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash near his home in Bellevue on Thursday morning.
According to the MNPD, Bruce Bradley died after crashing his motorcycle on the 900 block of Hicks Road.
Officers said Bradley was thrown from his motorcycle going around a curb and landed in a dense creek bed.
A neighbor found Bradley after she noticed her mailbox had been hit and called police. around 10 a.m. Police do not know what time the crash happened.
The neighbor said her mailbox has been hit several times and that residents in the area have inquired about having a speed bump and stop sign placed at the intersection of Hicks Dr. and Patten Lane prior to the curve.
Police found no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene.
The roadway was closed while police investigated.
